Do not send mp3 attachments to the Booking Department.
Do not mail CDs and Press Kits to the Club.
Do not call the club regarding booking-related matters.
If we'd like to receive a CD after checking out your music online, we'll let you know.
All electronic submissions will be carefully reviewed and you will receive a response within three weeks via E-mail.
Be sure to include your phone number and E-mail address when you contact us with your links.
Generally, we book six to eight weeks in advance.
If you are offered a gig at The Stanhope House, we will require that you do not have another local gig two weeks before or two weeks after your performance, unless other terms are negotiated. "Local" will be defined as a gig at another club within 25 miles of Stanhope, NJ.
Please keep in mind that The Stanhope House is primarily a Blues & Jazz venue, but will occasionally book artists in the following genres: Pop, Rock, Singer/Songwriter, Tribute Acts and select Cover Bands.
When you E-mail your links, please tell us what you would do to publicize a gig at The Stanhope House, (if you are granted that opportunity) and how many fans you anticipate would attend your show?
If you cannot comfortably guarantee at least 25 fans for a Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday show and 40 fans for a Friday or Saturday show, please don't bother to submit your links.
This is one of the most prestigious and historically significant clubs in North America. We only book seasoned, experienced professionals who have a strong fan base and who work hard to publicize their performances. This is not a rehearsal hall for artists to practice for a handful of their friends.
