    M.O.P - Mashed Out Posse
Lil' Fame and Billy Danze grew up together in the neighborhood of Brownsville, Brooklyn and formed a gang called Mash Out Posse. With a desire to express themselves through rap, they formed a hip-hop group named after their gang. Originally, Fame was the DJ of the group. With encouragement from his older brother, Fame began to write his own rhymes. The duo is known for their aggressive lyrical delivery style. Although they maintain a strong underground following, they are mainly known for the song "Ante Up," released on 2000's Warriorz.

    Janiva Magness
"One of the most fiery and original vocalists in contemporary blues and soul…Thoughtful, inventive and almost unerringly on the money." --MOJO
"As I move forward," says award-winning R&B and blues artist Janiva Magness, "I'm more willing to put myself on the line. I'm less willing to burden myself with unnecessary problems, less willing to care what people say about me. As it turns out, the more vulnerable I allow myself to be, the more strength I draw from that." A dynamic musical powerhouse, Janiva has received 22 Blues Music Award nominations to date, winning the coveted Blues Music Award for B.B. King Entertainer Of The Year (she is only the second woman to ever win this Award, Koko Taylor being the first). USA Today declared, "Magness is a blues star," and The Philadelphia Inquirer said, "Magness sings superbly, with a scorching intensity."

    Debbie Davies

Debbie Davies is an award-winning singer, songwriter, guitar player of extraordinary talent.  A professional musician since the early 1980s, Debbie ranks among the top blues artists in the country. She has received ten nominations for Blues Music Awards, and in 1997 and 2010 won the award for Best Contemporary Female Blues Artist.

Davies’ rise to the upper echelon of blues music started at an early age as she absorbed the music heard constantly in her home. Her (professional) musician parents were either sitting at the piano or spinning discs on their turntable, filling the air with the sounds of big band jazz, harmony vocal groups, or the pop icons of the day. But the young Davies was particularly attracted to the bluesier sounds of her father’s Ray Charles records, and by the age of 12 realized that her affinity for an instrument was not for the piano, but for the guitar.

    Milo Z
He calls the music “Razzamofunk”, a combination of Rock, Rap, Jazz, Blues & Funk. The sound is what you might expect from a kid growing up on New York City’s Lower East Side (now the East Village). It was a culturally diverse neighborhood once considered the “melting pot”; full of poets, artists, musicians, junkies, punk rockers, winos and families of modest means. From this beginning it seems only natural that Milo Z’s music would have a gritty, funky, soulful and unique edge, hence – Razzamofunk. Milo Z has toured the world and his dancin’ shoes have spun on many a stage. Milo Z has shared bills with the Neville Brothers, Al Greene, Chuck Brown, Maceo Parker, Massive Attack, The Average White Band, Spin Doctors, and Robert Randolph, just to name a few.

One of the most innovative and widely admired bands to emerge from the never-ending collision between hardcore and metal, Vision Of Disorder
exploded from the streets of Long Island, NYC, with their self-titled debut album in 1996. Rapidly established as one of the hottest heavy bands on the planet, they were merely reaping the rewards of several years of hard slog as they honed their daring crossover sound across a series of gritty and

    Kinderhook
"During the summer of 2009 we decided to get together and do a few shows. The idea was to have some fun playing together and have a few laughs. We agreed to do a show in March of 2010 with the New Riders. The response was humbling to say the least. Almost 600 lunatics came out in a major storm and not only created an event but recreated a feeling that took us all back to a very special time and place in our lives.  We thought it was a fluke, a one-time deal. We were wrong. The same thing happened when we did shows at the Headliner in Neptune, N.J. and again at McLoone’s and the Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
When things started to get posted all over Facebook and YouTube, we were confronted with the age old question... WHAT THE HELL DO WE DO NOW!  Given the response of our audience and the fact that we were having such a blast the answer was simple. Let’s do it again."

    Gas House Gorillas
"This primo jump blues band has it all: an amazing rhythm section, awesome sax playing, fabulous guitar, a killer frontman, and fantastic songs. And more than all that, these guys have the ability to cross over from jump blues to swing to rock and back again, often within the same track."
Michael Macomber - Retro Music Review
The Gas House Gorillas often bring the show into the audience spurring fans to sing, dance and get wild. Cutting up with each other and the crowd, the Gorillas are more than a great band, they are great entertainers as well. The band's repertoire encompasses a broad range of styles that include Jump Blues, Gypsy Swing, early Rock & Roll, Cajun Music and even the occasional funk groove. Artists as diverse as Wynonie Harris, Groucho Marx, Sam Cooke, Fats Waller, and Albert King all coexist in the Gorillas' musical vernacular.

    Maria Muldaur
Maria Muldaur is best known world-wide for her 1974 mega-hit “Midnight at the Oasis,”which received several Grammy nominations, and enshrined her forever in the hearts of Baby Boomers everywhere; but despite her considerable pop music success, her 50-year career could best be described a long and adventurous odyssey through the various forms of American Roots Music. During the folk revival of the early '60s, she began exploring and singing early Blues, Bluegrass and Appalachian “Old Timey” Music, beginning her recording career in 1963 with the Even Dozen Jug Band and shortly thereafter, joining the very popular Jim Kweskin Jug Band, touring and recording with them throughout the '60s.
2014 marks 40 years since Maria’s big hit “Midnight at the Oasis” was riding at the top of the charts.  To celebrate this landmark, Maria has created a multi-media retrospective Way Past Midnight , which chronicles her 50 year journey “to the Oasis and Beyond”. This special presentation features all her hits and fan faves from every stage of her career, as well as fascinating, entertaining, (often humorous!) stories of her personal encounters, friendships, and collaborations with many of the greatest names in music.

    Agnostic Front
These rarely confronted and always respected leaders of hardcore were established as one of the meanest-sounding bands in the emerging punk genre, helping to initiate the term "hardcore," and placing an entire uproar on the New York map by association. From the start, AGNOSTIC FRONT released a catalogue of fast and violent punk tunes consisting of distinctive and aggressive drumming, bass work, and a non-stop barrage of chaotic shouting. AGNOSTIC FRONT’s uncontrollable drumming and fuming guitars fill every minute like an onrushing storm of flailing limbs and incinerating transistors. The heavier paced balance between the energy and discipline of their earlier punk roots strikes a taut and vivid rock barrage that moshes in close formation. "It's social politics," Roger states. "The day-to-day reality of waking up, reading the newspaper, and walking around the neighborhood. It's a hard stare on why the world is still one f*cked-up place, and we tackle the very real shit that's going down: gentrification's running rampant, street justice, world destruction, working wages, and backs are still being stabbed."
